I have two copies of the tie fighter disc and no millennium falcon. Looking for someone who possibly received two falcons and wants to trade. [email protected]
Ice_One_Guys
Great hologram effect, however even called as audiophile 180g, there is a problem with the cutting machine noise slightly noticeable between tracks. It sounds like a warp engine from the Startrek or something like that. Records sounds good, but not the best.
Thordira
Just received mine today, and found it was missing disc 1 of 2. Tie fighters are noticeable and look neat.
Zadora
Totally awesome - both the hologram and quality of the vinyl blew me away. Now locked away!!

When I saw this in action my jaw dropped through the floor and my neighbours sued me for damage. The hologram is &@^$& impressive. I got no problems with my copy. You don't need any specific light to reveal the graphics. You can use the flashlight from your phone.
Adoraris
Strangely enough, my copy didn't come with the hype sticker on the shrinkwrap... but other than that, everything is exactly what I expected. Some amount of surface noise is present (I mostly blame the printed inner sleeves they come in; the records come dirty with shed paper, so you'll need to at least brush them off with record brushes), but I don't think the noise ever overpower the music. The holograms look pretty awesome, especially the TIE Fighter. And the music "crammed" on the hologram sides sounds just as good as everything else in this pressing. Since it was my father who bought it for himself, I have no more complaints about it, so it's a nice addition to the collection. Also, mind you that there are several variants on the GZ deadwax etches, more specifically the last letter, the galvanoplasty number (stampers maybe?), so I'll have to guess that tens of thousands of copies were made worldwide. Also I can't stand how the ultra-glossy jacket and the labels are fingerprint magnets.

Please someone tell me how many of these were printed??
Mitars Riders
How does this sound? Can anyone provide any insight?
Manesenci
It's sounds great, just remember ~~even the quiet moments on 180 gram vinyl can have surface noise and this does. Though nothing overwhelming.
Granirad
No issues on sound quality for me. Cut on 180gm so deep enough not to lose anything even with the hologram. Its a great gimmick and gives me two of my favorite things at the same time
Bu
Sounds quality is perfect. There are no issues or reduction of sound quality in regards to the hologram placement on side two. Some tracks reflect existing music but the bulk are new. I would say the only concern is whether you want to part with quite a bit of cash just for the hologram!
Manris
The hologram is completely indiscernible on my copy. I couldn't even tell which one was which.
Jonariara
Try to illuminate the vinyl with the flashlight of your mobile, it worked for me like that.
Nilador
You need to have a LED light and try aiming it from different angles.
Kizshura
Shine a light sabre over it, that should do the trick........
Little Devil
You have to hold a light up to it at an angle.
Paster
Shine a direct light above the deck. It's pretty amazing, for an hand etched (sic) bit of art.
Yannara
Shine a light (mobile phone torch will do) on to it directly from above (12" above should do) with record spinning for best effect.
Shadowredeemer
Your light may be too broad. Try a narrower light.
Mautaxe
so, they crushed the grooves together way too tightly in order to fit a silly hologram on there? no thanks. i was under the impression that maybe they kept those sides extra short in order to free up the dead wax needed for the holograms.
Bloodfire
The B side is short at only 15 minutes of music, Side D is also short at just under 14 minutes of music. No loss of quality compared to the non-hologram sides A & C.
Arakus
The holograms are on sides B and D which are shorter, about 15 minutes each. Sides A and C on the other hand are over 20 minutes each.
